I had the wonderful opportunity to work with the management at Dave’s Guitar Shop to design and hand-paint the sign for their Milwaukee location. Although Dave’s Guitar Shop is a nationally renown guitar store based out of LaCrosse WI, each branch is staffed with a unique crew invested in their respective cities/communities. Dave’s in Milwaukee is no exception, and while keeping the Dave’s logo central, I was allowed to create something befitting of Walkers Point’s burgeoning storefront district. Painting the sign by hand provided a local and personal touch, and is something that will hopefully last for many years to come.
